We're now well into Spring and as it gets closer to Summer the need for a refreshing and fruity drink intensifies! Hehe.

This is just something I whipped up one morning and really enjoyed so I thought it only right to share it with the rest of you.

Not only does this smoothie have some nice fruits in it but there's also some protein as well from the milk, yogurt, and almonds.

As before, this recipe is adapted for the single shot magic bullet, but you can always adjust the recipe to make a larger amount.

Fruity Smoothie

1/4 to 1/2 cup milk (the amount of liquid you use depends on your preferred viscosity...and you could substitute any non-dairy milk as well)

1 tbsp Greek yogurt (heaping)

1 frozen banana, chunked

5 strawberries

5 almonds

1 tsp flax, heaping

1/8 cup pineapple tidbits, fresh or canned (I used canned because that's what I had on hand but I'm sure fresh would be lovely!)

Mix it! And add in anything you'd like, such as s'mores schmalls or anything your heart desires!!
