These cookies are really delicious and SO good for you ;)
You can definitely justify eating half of the batter plus a significant portion of the baked cookies because these have much more protein than the average peanut butter chocolate chip cookie.
You'd be doing your body an injustice not to make these,
Depriving it of protein...peanut butter....and chocolate.
You may be asking yourself, "what gives these cookies the extra kick of protein?"
if you thought you saw a measuring cup of chickpeas in the background of the above photo you would have guessed it.
YES! Chickpeas believe it or not. You won't even know they're in there other than you'll have an yummy batter on your hands that won't give you salmonella.
